Terms & Conditions of Hire
1.0 BOOKINGS

Bookings will not be confirmed without this Terms and Conditions Agreement being agreed to and the booking form completed.

Private bookings are to be for a minimum of two hours.

We charge no venue hire, but the organiser is held liable for any fees relating to damage, theft, etc. (See Section 3.0 Additional Charges)

Any changes to the booking such as start time or catering requirements must be communicated to josh@amador.co.nz or manager@amador.co.nz with as much notice as possible - no less than 12 hours.

Set up time for decorating or moving furniture is not to be longer than an hour before the event starts unless otherwise approved.
2.0 CONFIRMATION
The event booking form must be completed as soon as possible as we reserve hire dates on a first come first booked basis.
3.0 ADDITIONAL CHARGES
In the event of;

Damage to the venue interior/exterior, furniture or it's facilities.

Theft of property that belongs to the venue.
-
Emergency services called out for false fire alarm activation.
-
Additional charges for security or professional cleaning.
during the event, the organiser will be be expected to pay the fees for repairs or services to have the issue/damage resolved.
4.0 FINAL NUMBERS
The numbers expected to attend the event must be advised below with final confirmation of attendees no later than midday 4 days prior to the event so we can staff accordingly.
5.0 COMPLIANCE WITH LIQUOR LICENSING LAWS
Our venue designation is supervised and we hold an on-license with sale of alcohol from 10am until 2am. Our staff have the full right to intervene if age or intoxication is questioned. Alcohol is not to be bought onto nor taken off the premises by guests.
6.0 USE OF THE VENUE

The organiser is required to be present for the duration of the event.

The organiser will help ensure that their guests and themselves do not take any action to place our liquor licence in jeopardy.

The organiser will protect all floors, walls and doors at all times, including for example, during the installation and removal of any equipment, displays or exhibits. The use of blue tack, cellotape and removable adhesive hooks is permitted but no pins.

The organiser will help ensure that all persons attending the event have vacated the venue at least thirty minutes after the end of the event.

NO Confetti, Confetti Balloons or Confetti Launchers. This is ruinous and stains wood when it is wet.

The staff will ask patrons to move inside from the balcony should the noise levels risk a visit from noise control.
7.0 PROPERTY
Any property belonging to the organiser must be removed within 1 day of the event. The venue takes no responsibility for any loss or damage of equipment left on premises. You shall remove all goods/decorations brought to the venue when you pack out.
8.0 DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA
Smoking is only permitted outside on the front balcony. Guests may vape either by the entrance or on the front balcony.
